What information do we collect?

What you tell us

When you fill in our contact form, email us, call or text us, sign out samples or talk with us in the showroom, you may give us:

• your name, phone number and email address
• where your project is: the address, the town or the ZIP code
• what you're planning: the room, the materials, sizes and other details
• photos or plans you send with the form
• anything else you choose to write, such as who referred you

We use it to answer you, prepare quotes, and talk with you about your project.

What your browser sends

Like most websites, ours receives some technical information automatically when you visit: your IP address and the approximate location it suggests, your browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that sent you here, the date and time, and actions such as tapping our phone number, opening directions or sending the form.

Cookies, analytics and ads

We use cookies and similar tools (small files and scripts stored by your browser, pixels and tags) to understand how people use our website and to measure our advertising.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use our site, which pages they view and what they do there. It uses cookies and similar identifiers. You can read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and you can stop Google Analytics from using your visits with Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads to measure which of our ads lead to calls, directions and inquiries. We may also show our ads to people who have visited our website (remarketing): Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to show ads based on your earlier visits to our site and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of participating companies' use of cookies for personalized ads through the Network Advertising Initiative.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

We use Meta's pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to provide measurement services and target ads. You can opt out of the collection and use of that information for ad targeting in Meta's ad preferences and at aboutads.info/choices.

Your browser's controls

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you do, the site still works; some measurement simply stops.

How do we use information?

To answer you by call, text or email, prepare quotes, and plan design visits and installations; to run and improve our website and see which pages and ads work; to protect the site and our customers from spam and fraud; and to meet legal obligations.

Who do we share it with?

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only with companies that help us run our business:

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. Some ad and measurement activities count as "selling" or "sharing" under some states' privacy laws even when no money changes hands; where those laws apply to us, we honor the rights they give you.

What are your choices?

• Ask what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email sales@oraclesurfaces.com or call (941) 302-7646. We may need to confirm it's you first.
• Stop ad personalization with the Google, Meta and industry opt-outs above.
• Stop Google Analytics with its browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser.
• Browser privacy signals. Where the law requires us to honor a signal such as Global Privacy Control, we do. There is no single standard for "Do Not Track", so the site doesn't respond to it.

We won't treat you differently for using any of these choices.

How long do we keep it, and how do we protect it?

We keep information only as long as we need it: to answer you, complete your project, keep business records, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or email system is perfectly secure.

Our website links to other sites, such as manufacturers, maps and social media. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only ours.

Children

Our website is for adults planning projects, not for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

When our website or the tools we use change, we update this page and the date at the top.
