Oracle Flooring & Design Policies

How buying from Oracle Flooring & Design works, in plain words: quotes, samples, special orders, delivery, returns and installation. Below them, the terms of using this website.

How do quotes and orders work?

Our website shows no prices. Visit the showroom, call us or send us your project, and we prepare a quote for the materials, and for the installation if you want it. Estimates in your home are free.

Until you approve it, a quote can change with manufacturer prices, freight, taxes and availability, and asking for a price doesn't hold a product. Your quote, invoice or agreement is what counts: where it says something different from this page, it wins.

Can I take samples home?

Yes. Sign them out on our sample sheet and bring them back in a few days, whether or not you go ahead with us. We help load larger tiles into your car, and by appointment we can bring samples to your home.

What about special orders?

Many products are ordered for you. Special, custom and made-to-order items may need a deposit or full payment up front, and they may not be returnable. We tell you which applies before you approve the order.

Delivery and pickup

When we install your project, delivery to the job is included. If you buy materials only, pick them up, send someone, or ask us to arrange local delivery for a fee, quoted with your order. Dates depend on manufacturers, freight and weather. Check materials when they arrive and tell us right away about anything missing or damaged.

Can I return something?

It depends on the product, its condition, the manufacturer's rules and the terms of your sale. Special orders, custom and clearance items, opened boxes, partial quantities and anything installed usually can't come back, and restocking or freight charges may apply. Call or email us before bringing anything back.

Who installs?

Certified installers who work with us regularly install what you choose; your quote or agreement says what is included. Whatever needs structural work or a licensed professional, we handle with our vetted, licensed partners. We aren't responsible for work done by installers or contractors you hire yourself.

Before you install

Open and check your materials before installation starts, and tell us first if anything looks wrong, damaged or different from what you ordered. Installing material means accepting its look, shade and size.

Natural variation, lots and sizes

Tile, stone and wood vary in shade, veining and texture, and different production lots can differ. See a physical sample before you order, and buy enough from one lot for the whole job, plus extra for cuts and future repairs. Sizes are often nominal. The manufacturer's specifications decide where a product can go: indoors or out, floor or wall, showers and pools.

Warranties

Most products we sell come from independent manufacturers and carry their warranties, under their terms. We don't add our own unless we agree to it in writing or the law requires it.
